Lily Joy and Omar are both wonderful hosts who care for the city of Rotorua and the food they serve.
Arabic particularly Middle Eastern food that you would find back home, made and served with love and passion with a strong focus on quality. Fresh ingredients is paramount and they love to see their customers enjoy the experience.
Lilly and Omar both love to sit with their customers and explain the origins of the food and how its made. A complete experience.
For those whose pallets are not so adventurous there is also a wide range to choose from.
Good food and very nice service~~~ we had a big breakfast and a boysenberry tart. The bacon is done just nice, not overcook and with a crispy skin. The potato cake is properly deep fried, cruchy outside and soft inside. Egg is good as well, a runny yolk and well cooked white. The owner even offered us turkish coffee and jasmine tea. The turkish coffee is authentic with a herby aroma. The tea is very fragrant as well. You can tell it's good quality tea, not water with a colour. Will definitely come back next time!
Much cheaper than valentines, with better food. Hospitality was 1st class. They don't have a huge selection, but every dish is delicious. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was perfect. Don't get me wrong, the competition may have more selection but there's still plenty of choices here for a solid dining experience for the whole family. I'll be returning here often. Awesome dinner.
